antisonnet?

I have this book thats like 400 pages of sonnet after sonnet. I love sonnets. They're the worst thing in the world. You think sonnet and all of a sudden there's all this metre and rhyme to care about. It's a hassle. I'm decidedly anti-sonnet. They have so much potential and it's wasted in the sad attempt to imitate "classical" poetry. Not every poem has to sound Shakespearean.
